Probably the UK’s most popular small cruising daysailer, the Cornish Shrimper are very popular for a good reason, with over 1100 of these built since 1979 they have stayed the test of time. There is an active owners association. There are also regular sailing regattas throughout the year. Great construction quality from Cornish Crabbers. They combine modern easy to care for construction materials. The Shrimper is a perfect pocket sized cruiser and has stand out good looks of the more traditional design. The latter point vindicated by inclusion in Classic Boats list of Spirit of Tradition yachts. Being the MK1, she offers a larger cabin than the later MK2 model.
The boat is a standard specification shrimper with the addition of two forward looking portholes that brighten up the cabin considerably. She’s well equipped by the current owner to essentially include what you’d need to be on the water. She has a oil burning cooker. Chemical toilet etc.
2 Berth cabin. Antifouled Hull.
Trailer is unbraked, break-back type for easy launching.
